All features

The SinceCode app, on your Home Screen.

Your dashboard, your enquiries and your bookings, one tap from the Home Screen instead of buried in a browser tab. It takes about ten seconds to set up and it works on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Add it from your phone or tablet — open your dashboard on the device you want it on, then follow the steps below.

iPhone & iPad

Safari

It has to be Safari. A shortcut made from another browser on iOS behaves differently and will not open full screen.

  • 01 Open your dashboard in Safari Go to build.sincecode.com and sign in as normal.
  • 02 Tap Share The square with an arrow coming out of it, in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
  • 03 Choose “Add to Home Screen” Scroll the share sheet down a little if you cannot see it, then tap Add.

Android

Chrome

Chrome usually offers this on its own once you have signed in — if a banner appears, that is the same thing and you can just tap it.

  • 01 Open your dashboard in Chrome Go to build.sincecode.com and sign in as normal.
  • 02 Open the menu The three dots at the top right of the browser.
  • 03 Choose “Install app” Some versions call it “Add to Home screen”. Either one does the same job.
Last thing on either phone: turn notifications on

Open the app you have just added, go to Account and then Notifications, and switch them on. Until you do, nothing is sent.

Notification settings

What changes once it is on there.

One tap to openIts own icon on the Home Screen, alongside everything else — no typing an address, no hunting for a tab.
Push notificationsA notification the moment an enquiry or a booking comes in, on every plan, with no limit on how many. You switch them on once, in your notification settings.
Full screenIt opens without the browser bars, so you get the whole screen for your inbox and your calendar.
On iPhone, add it before you turn notifications on Apple only allows notifications from a site once it is on the Home Screen. So add it first, then open it, switch them on in your notification settings, and say yes when iPhone asks. On Android the order does not matter.
Nothing to install, and nothing to update It is your dashboard, so it is always the current version — there is no update to download and it takes up almost no space on your phone.
Editing your site still needs a computer The app is for keeping an eye on enquiries and bookings while you are out. Building and changing pages needs a laptop or desktop — there is too much dragging and lining up for a small screen.
